Silent “G” Words

Even though the consonant “G” is commonly referred to as a hard consonant, it is frequently softened in words such as “germane,” “bridge,” “marriage” and “original.“ But “G” is mysteriously silent in numerous words too. This list is one of my favorites because I love adding to it.
